Five people were wounded in Fort Worth on Monday night after a physical fight turned violent. Just after 11 p.m. on July 3, according to police, they were called to a gunshot in the 2100 block of Christine Avenue. Large groups of individuals were fighting when the incident started, and at least two of them started firing guns.
Three individuals were there when police arrived, each suffering gunshot wounds “to various parts of their bodies.” They were taken to John Peter Smith Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries to be treated.

Not Life Threatening Injuries
According to Fort Worth police, they were called to a gunshot involving two victims at a home in the 4000 block of Knox Street at the same time as this one.
Both of those victims, a male and a woman, claimed they were travelling in a car when they were hit by gunfire at the Christine Avenue area. According to authorities, the woman sustained an ankle gunshot wound, while the guy suffered a hand injury from what may have been a gunshot wound or glass fragments.
For non-life-threatening injuries, those victims were transferred to Harris Hospital in the city. According to the police, a suspect is currently in custody, and a gang squad is looking into the shootings.
