Jamestown resident Angela Flippin, 51, entered a guilty plea in federal court in Jefferson City. She might spend up to 33 years behind bars. There is no defined time for a sentence.

Flippin served as the People’s Bank of Moniteau County’s vice president and chief operating officer. Federal prosecutors claimed that she stole at least $550,000 between 2010 and January 30, 2017, but they believe she may have taken closer to $650,000.

Prosecutors claimed that an audit revealed Flippin collected over $550,000 in erroneous comp time payments and over $8,000 in inaccurate cost reimbursements.
