In Tampa, Florida, luxury vehicles left at unattended valet stands have been stolen, and authorities have observed an increase in similar incidents.
The latest auto theft suspects are being sought, according to the Tampa Police Department. The agency claimed to have noticed an “increasing trend” in the theft of high-end vehicles from unattended valet stands.
Businesses should make sure that stalls are never left unattended to help reduce the possibility of more thefts, police advised on Facebook.
“For customers, be sure to ask if keys are securely stored and if there is an attendant assigned to the stand that’s not responsible for retrieving vehicles,” the post continued.
The police department revealed video footage of the suspects, which seem to be individuals wearing black helmets.
The public was enlisted to help the police find the suspects.
