Tuesday, a suspect in the stabbing of a person downtown was shot by a Seattle police officer, according to the police.

According to police Sgt. John O’Neil in a post on the online police blotter, officers were called to reports of a person attacking people at around 7:45 a.m.
An individual with a neck wound was discovered by police and transferred to Harborview Medical Centre, according to the post.
Officers located the guy nearby with a knife with the aid of witnesses, according to O’Neil. According to the post, one cop used a less dangerous weapon, while another shot the man.
The victim of the shooting was listed in critical condition in the Seattle hospital later on Tuesday morning, according to The Seattle Times.
No policemen were injured. While the shooting is being investigated, the involved officers have been placed on paid administrative leave.
