On Saturday, August 5, just after noon, a small, single-engine plane went missing near Meadow Lake Airport near Falcon in unincorporated El Paso County, according to the El Paso County Sheriff’s office.

Deputies claim that when the Falcon Fire Department and the El Paso County Hazardous Material Team responded, they discovered a deceased adult man who was thought to be the plane’s pilot.

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), according to police, will be in charge of the incident’s inquiry.
