According to police, neither the officer nor the suspect sustained serious injuries during the altercation, as both sustained minor bruises.

The incident occurred just days after several 7-Eleven employees in California severely beat a suspect who attempted to take tobacco products from behind the counter.

One of the store employees struck Tyrone Frazier with what appeared to be a broomstick as he was beaten mercilessly by the other employees. Frazier, who had a history of committing offenses in the area, including previous robberies at the same 7-Eleven, was arrested for the incident.
