After 14 months of marriage, Britney Spears and Sam Asghari have reportedly separated, according to many sources. Fox News Digital reached out to Spears and Asghari representatives for comment, but they did not immediately provide one.
After five years of dating, the actor, 29, and the 41-year-old pop sensation got married on June 9, 2022. It was Spears’ third marriage, while Asghari was her first.
On the filming of Britney Spears’ “Slumber Party” music video, the two initially crossed paths in October 2016. In January 2017, they made their relationship public.
Spears shared the news of her engagement on Instagram, saying at the time, “I can’t f—ing believe it.” Asghari proposed to the “Toxic” hitmaker in September 2021 with a four-carat diamond ring that was etched with her nickname, “Lioness.”
At her property in Thousand Oaks, California, they had a celebrity-studded wedding. Ansel Elgort, Donatella Versace, Drew Barrymore, Paris Hilton, Carter Reum, Kathy Hilton, Maria Menounos, and Madonna were among the approximately 60 attendees.

Spears’ ex-husband Jason Alexander was one unwanted visitor who was detained after attempting to disrupt the wedding, according to police sources subsequently verified to Fox News Digital.
Spears and Alexander were married in January 2004 during an early-morning ceremony at A Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas. Alexander was convicted of trespassing and battery misdemeanor offenses and sentenced to time served after serving 64 days in jail.
However, their union was dissolved 55 hours later, with Alexander alleging that Lynne Spears, Britney Spears’ mother, and Britney’s management had pushed the split.
