The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office has made public the former president Donald Trump’s mug photo, which was taken not long after he surrendered to police in Georgia on Thursday night after being charged with election meddling.
Trump is the first former president of the United States to have a mugshot taken. He was processed and later freed from the Fulton County Jail, where he was assigned the prisoner number P01135809, the sheriff’s office reported.
The mug photographs of the eleven more defendants in the case who have so far turned themselves in have all been made public, including former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, former Trump lawyers Rudy Giuliani, Jenna Ellis, and Sidney Powell, as well as the former mayor of New York City.

Later, in his first tweet on the network since January 8, 2021, Trump tweeted his arrest photograph to X, formerly known as Twitter. The article included a link to the website of Trump’s 2024 campaign, where he had also released the mugshot as part of a fundraising appeal.
Following the attack on the United States on January 6, 2021, the former president’s Twitter account was banned. Capitol. Elon Musk, the company’s new owner, restored Trump’s account in November 2022, although he persisted in using his own social media platform, Truth Social.
Trump and 18 other individuals were charged with trying to have the Georgia 2020 presidential election results overturned in a wide racketeering indictment. The former president maintains that his actions were legal and that the investigation is politically motivated.
Since March, there have been three additional criminal courts where Trump has been indicted, but when he was processed by those courts, no mug photo was required.
