An investigation warns that babies that are stillborn is a result of expectant mothers’ inability to pay for transportation to appointments due to the rising expense of living.

A number of maternal safety issues in the city were examined by Bradford District and Craven Health and Care Partnership and Bradford Teaching Hospitals Foundation Trust.
Their investigation came to the conclusion that some women are finding it difficult to make necessary antenatal appointments due to the present financial crisis.
