Authorities found a Chicago private school teacher with a teen at Miami International Airport, where they detained him and filed charges against him for attempted production of child pornography.
According to court documents, Emilio Amado Vrdoljak was stopped on June 29 in the airport with a 17-year-old Argentinean kid after a flight from Buenos Aires, according to FOX 32.
The youngster informed the authorities that Vrdoljak was his English instructor and that he had been studying in the United States for two weeks while staying with Vrdoljak. The youngster claimed that while they were in Argentina, Vrdoljak requested that they share a bed, but he declined.
When investigators looked through Vrdoljak’s phone, they discovered sexually explicit messages and images received to and from a boy who claimed to be 16 years old.
Vrdoljak informed the authorities that he kept in touch with the 16-year-old because he was “thinking with his butt.”
A judge decided that Vrdoljak must stay in the building other than five or six times per day to walk his dog.
Although court filings did not specify which school, Vrdoljak claimed to teach Spanish to high school students in Chicago.
