Syven and Tori always wanted to have kids, but they weren’t sure if their goal would ever come true as a transgender couple.

They started trying for a kid after learning that Syven, who was given the gender of a woman at birth, could conceive naturally. Tori is now able to declare with pride, “My husband gave birth to our children.”

The couple, who both transitioned as children, are the delighted parents of a one-year-old son named Prophet and a one-month-old daughter named Wynter. However, life hasn’t always been easy for Syven and Tori.

Even though having children had always been his ambition, Syven acknowledged that he had some reservations when they first began trying to conceive because he had used testosterone for “so long.”

He admitted, “It took so long to conceive that I truly believed it wasn’t going to happen.” Both Tori and Syven’s children are naturally born and transgender. The downside of his pregnancy, according to Syven, was “being judged” for being a pregnant man, especially when visiting his doctor.

The pair were overjoyed to learn that Syven was pregnant, but they were wary of how people would react to their unusual situation. Syven recalled that, because it took him so long to conceive, he initially believed it wasn’t going to happen.

Tori stated that one of the misconceptions is that transgender people are unable to have children. Although some individuals expressed support when they told them Syven was expecting, she said others smirked and grinned when they saw him moving around with a growing tummy.

The criticisms, according to Syven, “were basically, “Why are you having a kid if you’re meant to be a man? “Men don’t have babies,” and stuff like that.”

Despite some objections, Syven claims he enjoyed being pregnant. The drawback was, however, “being judged” for being a pregnant man, especially when seeing his doctor.
