According to emails obtained from Hunter Biden’s laptop, then-Vice President Joe Biden chastised then-President Barack Obama for having “no grace” after the younger Biden accused Obama of plagiarizing his father’s remarks.

Based on records acquired from Hunter Biden’s laptop, the criticism was delivered in an email from Hunter Biden to Joe Biden’s personal email account, [email protected], on September 7, 2010, one day after Obama delivered a pro-union speech at Laborfest in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In the email, Hunter Biden submitted portions from Obama’s speech, claiming that the statements were not his own.

“Interesting language from the President: ‘They (his grandparent) would tell me about seeing their fathers or uncles losing their jobs … how it wasn’t just a loss of a paycheck that stung. It was the blow to their dignity, their sense of self worth,’” Hunter wrote.

“Wonder where he got that from?” Hunter asked. “Im surprised he didn’t finish with the long walk up a short flight of stairs. Pretty amazing.”

Biden responded in an email to his son, “No grace.”

Hunter Biden said that Obama plagiarized wording from Joe Biden’s 2008 campaign speeches, in which Biden, a senator from Delaware at the time, discussed the effects of job loss on a family.

“That’s how you come to believe, to the very core of your being, that work is more than a paycheck,” Biden said in his acceptance speech for the Democratic vice-presidency in August 2008. “It’s about dignity.” It’s called respect.”

Biden Recalls Emotional ‘Long Walk’ Moment During 2008 Rally Speech

Biden mentioned a “long walk” during a rally in Missouri in November 2008.

“You know, when a job is lost or a house is foreclosed on, it’s not just an economic loss, it’s emotionally devastating for a family,” he explained. “It’s about a parent having to make that long walk up a short flight of stairs, like my father did when I was 10 years old, and walk into the child’s bedroom and say, ‘Honey, I’m sorry — I’m sorry, but Daddy lost his job or Mommy lost her job.'”

Biden’s personal email address is one of many that the then-vice president used to interact with family. According to Marco Polo, the email account was involved in many email exchanges on Hunter’s abandoned laptop.

The communications of President Joe Biden and Hunter Biden have been at the heart of House GOP investigations into charges of influence peddling by the Biden family. Hunter Biden’s overseas business transactions, as well as President Joe Biden’s alleged knowledge and participation in them, have been the topic of several investigations and testimonies.

On Tuesday, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) said that Republicans will launch an impeachment investigation on Biden as the “logical next step” in the investigations. McCarthy stated that the investigation was launched after several crucial pieces of information created a “picture of corruption.”
