Even though the Food and Drug Administration has recently taken steps to crack down on the sale of the illegal items, former wrestling legend Hulk Hogan and former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson are selling flavored nicotine vapes that are popular with teenagers.
With their brands Tyson 2.0 and Immortal by Hulk Hogan, Tyson and Hogan have been promoting disposable nicotine vapes for the past year in flashy, vibrant packaging and designs.
The gadgets are offered in fruity and sweet flavors like cotton candy, strawberry shortcake, and apple candies.
The muscle heads came under fire from critics for promoting items intended for younger vapers.
Since the products cannot be sold or distributed in the United States, many experts also criticized the celebrity-branded businesses.
According to Edgar Domenech, a former New York City Sheriff under former Mayor Mike Bloomberg, there is a misconception that flavored vapes must be safe because they are so prevalent.

Rising Youth E-Cigarette Use Sparks Concern as FDA Clamps Down on Illicit Imports

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 2.5 million young people reported smoking e-cigarettes in 2022, including 14% of all high school students and 3% of students in middle schools.
Nearly 85% of all middle and high school students admitted to using vapes with flavors other than tobacco.
FDA spokesman Jim McKinney said, the FDA has only approved the sale of 23 adult-targeted, tobacco-flavored vaping products yet.
The FDA has been working to stop the importation of vapes, the bulk of which are produced in Shenzhen, China, in recent months.
The popular Elf Bar and Esco Bar, among other devices, were prohibited from import in May, and almost 200 businesses selling the illegal goods received warning letters from the agency.
Additionally, it issued market denial orders to businesses that produce close to 6,500 vaping items.
