In a significant development, a woman from Wisconsin was found guilty by a jury on Tuesday for the heinous act of fatally poisoning her friend’s water with eye drops. This shocking incident was further compounded by the fact that she also stole hundreds of thousands of dollars from her victim.

After 11 hours of deliberation, jurors in Waukesha County have reached a verdict in the case of Jessy Kurczewski. The defendant has been found guilty of first-degree intentional homicide and two counts of theft in connection with the death of Lynn Hernan.

According to a report from FOX Milwaukee, Kurczewski was seen breaking down in tears when the verdict was announced in open court.

In 2018, Kurczewski, aged 39, informed investigators that she had provided Hernan with a water bottle containing six bottles of Visine. According to prosecutors, Hernan was discovered deceased in her Pewaukee condo, with crushed medication found on her chest.

In a phone call to the police, Kurczewski reported that Hernan was found unconscious and not breathing. According to the individual, she informed the authorities that Hernan may be experiencing suicidal thoughts.

In a recent development, the cause of her unfortunate demise has been officially determined as a homicide. This conclusion was reached following the discovery of tetrahydrozoline, a key ingredient found in Visine, within her system. According to the toxicology results obtained during the autopsy, it has been revealed that the woman had a concentration of 160 nanograms per milliliter of tetrahydrozoline in her system. This amount, as stated by a medical examiner, raises concerns as it is deemed highly unlikely to have been solely derived from the use of eye droplets.

In a significant development, a woman from Wisconsin was found guilty by a jury on Tuesday for the heinous act of fatally poisoning her friend’s water with eye drops. This shocking incident was further compounded by the fact that she also stole hundreds of thousands of dollars from her victim.

In response to the news of her friend’s poisoning, Kurczewski informed investigators that Hernan, 61, may have orchestrated her own suicide by utilizing the crushed pills. According to detectives, it has been determined that Kurczewski is responsible for the theft of $290,000 from Hernan.

Based on a statement given to the news outlet, Hernan’s close friend, Anthony Pozza, described him as a compassionate, humble, and very generous individual.

As noted by Pozza, she has a generous nature and is willing to offer her own shirt to someone if it would enhance their appearance. Upon receiving news of Lynn’s untimely demise, an immediate sense of suspicion and disbelief washed over me, as if the very fabric of reality had been called into question.  The individual expressed gratitude to God on a daily basis for the detectives and district attorney who served as representatives in this particular case.

According to reports, Kurczewski is set to receive his sentencing on December 7th.
