SSDI Payment Alert: Discover Your Next Month’s Payment Date for March 2024


Every month, approximately 7.4 million individuals rely on Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) for financial assistance. If you are part of this group, continue reading to find out the specific days you can expect to receive your March payment.

SSDI resources are distributed by the Social Security Administration on different Wednesdays each month, based on the beneficiary’s date of birth.

Recipients born between the 1st and 10th receive their payment on the second Wednesday of each month, as per the schedule. If you were born between the 11th and the 20th, you will receive your funds on the third Wednesday. For those born between the 21st and the 31st, payments are made on the fourth Wednesday.

Individuals who are eligible for SSDI before May 1997 or those who qualify for both SSDI and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) will receive their SSI payment on the 1st of the month and their SSDI payment on the 3rd, or the nearest business day.

When will SSDI checks be deposited in March 2024?

Individuals who receive SSDI benefits and were born between the 1st and 10th of the month can expect their deposit on March 13. If you were born between the 11th and the 20th, you will receive your payment on Wednesday the 20th. For those born between the 21st and the 31st, your deposit will be on the 27th.

Individuals who have been enrolled in the program since before May 1997 and those who also collect SSI will receive their corresponding benefits on March 1.

If payment is not received on the scheduled date, it is advisable to wait three extra mail days before reaching out to the bank where you receive your deposits to check for any potential issues.

If the issue is not related to the bank, you can reach out to your nearest Social Security office either by phone or in person.
