International Human Trafficker arrested in Middle Tennessee; Authorities looking for more Traffickers

Nashville, TN: The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has arrested a man who is accused of being a member of an international human trafficking ring.

The Murfreesboro resident has been taken into custody as part of a continuing collaborative investigation into a transnational criminal network associated with human trafficking in Middle Tennessee.

Yilibeth Rivero De Caldera was apprehended in the fall of 2023 on charges related to the commercial sex trafficking of Hispanic female immigrants in Nashville. This was made possible by special agents assigned to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigations’ specialized Human Trafficking Unit.

Kleiver Daniel Moto Rivero, 34, was apprehended in Nashville on Wednesday by the TBI in collaboration with the FBI, Homeland Security Investigations, Metro Nashville Police Department, and the United States Marshals Service. Moto Rivero has been identified by the TBI as an ally of the Venezuelan-affiliated criminal gang Tren de Aragua.

Two counts of trafficking for a commercial sex act and one count of aggravating assault with a deadly weapon were brought against Moto Rivero, who was placed into the Davidson County Jail. The bail amount is $375,000.
