On Friday, the North Carolina team suffered an 11-4 loss to the Lake Mary Little League All-Star team, who maintained their unbeaten record in the Southeast Region.

In just the top of the 1st inning, Lake Mary quickly took the lead by scoring a run on a wild pitch, making the score 1-0.

Lake Mary took control of the game with a dominant performance in the 4th and 5th innings, scoring seven runs in total. Despite North Carolina’s efforts to level the score in the bottom of the 3rd, Lake Mary proved too strong for them.

In the fifth inning, DJ Mieses hit a three-run home run that gave Lake Mary the lead of 8-1.
