Jacob Kelley Museum House event The Jacob Kelley Museum House will be open on Sunday, October 2nd from 3-5 p.m. Please come and join us for a step back in time. Visit the place where General Sherman’s troops camped for three days in 1865 on their March from Columbia to North Carolina. We will have games from the 19th Century for the children to enjoy. Members will be in period dress and available to discuss the history of the home and the Kelley family. Visitors can tour the home, cook house and smoke house. The barn will be open to educate guests on the farming methods in use during the mid-1800’s.

Hartsville Church of God yard sale Hartsville Church of God is having a church yard sale on Saturday, September 17 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dinette, doors, and lots of miscellaneous items.

Butler High School Class of 1970 Butler High School Class of 1970 classmates will meet at Harlie Poston’s house on Saturday, September 17 at 4 p.m. All members are encouraged to attend. Hartsville First Church of the Nazarene event The Reverends Drs. Moody and Nina Gunter will be speaking at Hartsville First Church of the Nazarene on Sunday, September 18 at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. The Gunters pastored there for 12 years (1963-1975) and now reside in Nashville, TN.

Hartsville Community Bible Study You’re invited to attend the Hartsville Community Bible Study September 12-October 17. The study will be called “Entrusted” studying the entire book of 2 Timothy. Study session times: Mondays at 10 a.m.-11:15 a.m., 4 p.m.-5:15 p.m. and 7 p.m.- 8:15 p.m. All classes will be held in the community room at the YMCA. You do not have to be a Y member to come to the studies. Childcare is available during the 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. sessions. Workbooks are optional, but encouraged. They will be available for purchase at the first few sessions of each study. You can also purchase your own through Lifeway.
