First Friday Concert Series First Presbyterian Church, 213 W. Home Ave., presents The First Friday Concert Series through April 3rd. Its a free thirty minute concert from 12:00-12:30 p.m. in the church sanctuary. This is free and open to the public.

INSIDE GSSM South Carolina Governor’s School for Science & Mathematics, 401 Railroad Ave., Hartsville will be hosting INSIDE GSSM on February 29th, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. This is a free fun day for families to interact with the GSSM community and explore the campus of South Carolina’s only two-year, public residential and virtual high school for the advanced study of STEM. GSSM’s, ENGAGE GSSM’s Center for Science Education & Outreach, ENGAGE is designed to impact students through early interest and awareness of STEM studies. One four-week after-school ENGAGEMENT will be offered this semester to 6th, 7th and 8th grade students in Darlington County. ENGAGE will start on March 2nd-25th on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4 p.m.-5:30 p.m. at the SC Governor’s School for Science & Mathematics at 401 Railroad Ave., Hartsville. Opportunities to connect with GSSM’s residential students who will serve as instructors and role models. Snacks will be provided. Space is limited to 15 students per session. Christian Recovery meeting location Christian Recovery meets at New Providence Baptist Church, 1884 Antioch Road at the corner of North Center Road. Deer Creek Ranch and Horse Rescue Deer Creek Ranch and Horse Rescue, 3047 Patrick Hwy., Hartsville is a horse rescue ranch with a mission of rehabilitating and restoring abandoned horses to good homes.
