When hearing about Alive N’ Well in Hartsville the first response may be “another vitamin shop”. Although they do carry vitamins, Dr. Susie Morris, chiropractic doctor and owner of Advanced Wellness says her vision has come to be much more.
She has a passion to see people live healthy and pain free lives. That is one of the reasons she decided to make this an additional business. The unique retro style building she chose may stir your curiosity. It was once the Coca-Cola plant and has been vacant since 1989.
Upon walking into this newly opened shop you automatically get the feeling that you are going to walk out with something to make you a healthier person. There’s something for everyone from infants to elderly and even your pets! “I’m all about shopping locally in our hometown,” says Dr. Morris. “That’s why I’m so excited to open my business to carry other local business owners’ products. We carry a variety of items from jewelry, essential oils, health and beauty, honey soap and beeswax candles to fresh baked goods including gluten free bread and fresh meat raised antibiotic and hormone free. We even have fresh ready to cook casseroles and delicious desserts focusing on gluten free, sugar free and allergy sensitive items.”
Stop in and see everything they have to offer. You won’t be disappointed. When you visit expect to be greeted with a smile by Dr. Morris’ sister, Karen Deberry. She is always so helpful in finding everything I’m searching for. They are located at 646 West Carolina Avenue in Hartsville. Stop in and see what you can find to make you feel more “Alive N’ Well”.
