Students attending the Darlington Summer Academic Program (DSAP) will have the incredible opportunity on Wednesday, June 15 to get up close and personal with a military helicopter flown in by the Celebrate Freedom Foundation.

DSAP is a month-long program for 4th, 5th and 6th graders, based at Mayo High School for Math, Science and Technology, that provides experiences in science, technology, robotics, problem-solving and high-order thinking skills.

The helicopter will be at the Darlington County Adult Education campus, 100 Magnolia St. in Darlington, from 8:30 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15. This will provide excellent chances for photos, videos and interviews.

Please join us Wednesday for this exciting event!
