Fall Downtown Block Party begins with performance by Outshyne sponsored by Raceway Automotive

WHAT: Downtown Block Party begins with performance by Outshyne sponsored by Raceway Automotive

WHERE: East Carolina Avenue, near Bizzell’s, downtown Hartsville

WHEN: Thursday, September 22nd, 6-9pm

Hartsville, S.C. – Main Street Hartsville’s Fall Downtown Block Party series will begin Thursday, September 22nd on East Carolina Avenue with a performance by Outshyne sponsored by Raceway Automotive. The Downtown Block Party series will consist of two additional free outdoor concerts that highlight downtown Hartsville shops and businesses and a variety of family-friendly activities during the month of October.

Other activities planned for the Downtown Block Party are show cars, a Jingle Singing contest, and other fun activities for kids to enjoy such as hula hoops and sidewalk chalk. In addition to the performance by Outshyne, Zach Bradshaw, winner of the 2015 Hartsville Idol amateur singing competition, will be performing at intermission.

Outshyne , a country band from South Carolina, plays music with a country feel and rock overtones. Originally formed in 2007, of high school friends playing after work. In 2010 they turned their passion for music into a full time endeavor, performing 150-180 dates a year. They have opened for country music superstars including, Jake Owen, Eric Church, Lee Brice, Colt Ford, Joe Nichols, Gary Allen, and Justin Moore. Their music can be found on Youtube and Spotify with their latest single, “That Girl” available on iTunes.

Downtown Hartsville’s Block Party series features various bands and performances, but also offers a variety of activities and downtown vendors. These events were planned by Main Street Hartsville which seeks to create a vibrant and economically successful downtown in Hartsville.
