GSSM elects new members, appoints officers
The South Carolina Governor’s School for Science and Mathematics Foundation recently elected six new members to its board of directors and named new officers for 2022-23.
The following board members were elected:
Mary Morton Bell, Industrial Products, Inc.;
Andrew S. Etkind, JTEKT North America;
Nicole Flippin, Duke Energy Robinson Nuclear Plant;
Royce Shannon, Columbia Electric Operations at Dominion Energy;
Ann F. Trapp, Rolls-Royce Solutions America Inc.;
Dr. Brigid Troan, Adjunct Professor at N.C. Stare University.
The following officers were elected: Heather Srulevich, president; Michael Shetterly, vice president: Patrick Cleary, secretary; Chris Madden, treasurer.
“We are excited to welcome these talented individuals to the GSSM Foundation Board of Directors,” said Executive Director Beth Dinndorf. “We are grateful to them and the 2022-23 board officers for their commitment to the Governor’s School for Science and Mathematics and the GSSM Foundation.”
