Hartsville, SC—The Hartsville Farmers Market will return to East Carolina Avenue on April 13, 2019 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Famers Market is the second Saturday of each month from April to December. Main Street Hartsville Director, Suzy Moyd, is “excited about the lineup of vendors and is looking forward to seeing Hartsville visitors and residents return to East Carolina Avenue for the Hartsville Farmers Market.”

The first market of the season will feature music, food, a variety of artisans and vendors, and a special Shred Event sponsored by SPC Credit Union. This Shred Event will feature the Sure-Shred Truck for document shredding and the City of Hartsville will be providing E-Waste disposal. Patrons are invited to bring their sensitive documents and e-waste to the Hartsville Farmers Market for responsible disposal.

The street closure on East Carolina Avenue will range from the Fifth Street intersection through the Fourth Street intersection. The event will return the second Saturday of every month until December. The event is organized as a juried market, meaning that all vendors are selected from the applicants to create an attractive mix of creative and original goods.

Sponsors of the event and partner businesses of Main Street Hartsville are eligible for free spaces, and the application form for participating may be found at mainstreethartsville.org. Volunteer opportunities during the market are also still available. Those interested can contact Main Street Hartsville at This email address is being protected from spambots.
