GSSM offering ENGAGE GSSM, 401 Railroad Ave., is offering an after-school program to 6th, 7th and 8th grade students in Darlington County through March 20th on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4 p.m.-5:30 p.m. The cost is free. There will be eight sessions of captivating STEM fun and opportunities to connect with GSSM’s residential students who will serve as instructors and role models. Snacks will be provided. Lamar Egg Scramble Jamboree Established in 1983, the Lamar Egg Scramble Jamboree is an annual tourist driven festival located in downtown Lamar that brings people from throughout the region to enjoy a weekend of fun filled activities. This year’s Jamboree will be held Thursday, April 4th-Saturday, April 6th. Come out and enjoy the fun!
