Christian Recovery meeting location Due to construction at The Player House, Christian Recovery has moved its meeting to New Providence Baptist Church, 1884 Antioch Road at the corner of North Center Road. Downtown Block Party The Spring Downtown Block Party concert series will be starting back on April 11th in the Downtown Hartsville Entertainment District at 100 East College Avenue. These are free family-friendly events held on Thursday evenings from 6-9 p.m. If Birds Could Fly will be the featured artist on April 11th, sponsored by North Industrial Machine.

Earth Day Festival 2019 Kalmia Gardens, 1624 W Carolina Ave., Hartsville will host Earth Day Festival 2019 on Saturday, April 13th beginning at 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Their will be nature walks, exhibits and more! As always, this event is free and open to the public. Everyone come out and celebrate.

Hartsville Farmers Markets Your Hartsville Farmers Market returns on April 13th, and will continue on the second Saturday of each month. The event is downtown on E. Carolina Ave. from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and features local produce, craftsmen, non-profit organizations, and fun food!

Caresouth Carolina Spring Fling Celebration Caresouth Carolina, 1268 S. Fourth St., will be having their Spring Fling Celebration on Saturday, April 13th. The fun begins at 10 a.m. and ends at 1 p.m. The event is free to the public. Come out and enjoy free food, health screenings, inflatables and more!

NAACP Monthly Meeting The Hartsville Branch of the Naacp monthly members meeting is set for Monday, April 15th beginning at 6 p.m. at Jerusalem Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, 301 S. 6th St., Hartsville. Guest speakers will be Scott Gauger, Hartsville Police Dept. and Nikki Williams Hill, Edventure Children’s Museum. Come learn what can be done about gangs in the community. Everyone is welcome. Symphonic Electronic concert event The Coker Concert Band and the college’s esports team are collaborating on a special concert event, Symphonic Electronic, on Monday, April 15th, starting at 7:30 p.m. in the Watson Theater at the Elizabeth Boatwright Coker Performing Arts Center on Coker’s Campus at 300 E. Community Easter Eggstravaganza The 3rd Annual Community Easter Eggstravaganza will be held on April 13th from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Hop over to Coker College for this family friendly event sponsored by the City of Hartsville and Coker College with three age appropriate egg hunts, music, games and more. This event will be an egg-cellent time for all.
