Emergency Meals for Seniors The Darlington County Council on Aging will be providing emergency meals to seniors age 60+ during the Covid-19 crisis. Meals will be available for drive-thru pick up at the Council on Aging locations throughout Darlington County. Meals will be provided on a first come, first serve basis, at the senior centers located in Hartsville, Darlington, Lamar and Society Hill. Check out Facebook or call 843-393-8521.
Gospel in the Park Series 2020 Gospel in the Park Series 2020 has been cancelled the first three months. We will kick off our 2020 series August 9th at 5 p.m. for our Back to School Youth Alive. Darlington County Disabilities & Special Needs Board The Darlington County Disabilities & Special Needs Board of Directors meet on the last Tuesday of each month (except December) at 2 p.m. at The Scott Center, 201 Damascus Rd., Hartsville. Christian Recovery meeting location Christian Recovery meets at New Providence Baptist Church, 1884 Antioch Road at the corner of North Center Road. Deer Creek Ranch and Horse Rescue Deer Creek Ranch and Horse Rescue, 3047 Patrick Hwy., Hartsville is a horse rescue ranch with a mission of rehabilitating and restoring abandoned horses to good homes. Good News Club Good News Club is an after-school Bible club held after school for about one hour one day a week filled with songs, games, snacks, and a Bible story at various elementary schools in the area: Carolina Elementary, North Hartsville Elementary, Thornwell School for the Arts and West Hartsville Elementary. Parents who are interested in enrolling their children in this club should contact their school for more information. Participation is voluntary and free.
