League of Women Voters hosting candidates forum
The League of Women Voters of Darlington County is hosting a candidates forum, Thursday September 15, 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. with Darlington County School Board Candidates District 5 and 7. The forum will be held at Davidson Hall, Coker University, 300 E. Gospel music is coming to Coker
Gospel music is coming to Coker University, (in front of Davidson Hall) Sunday, September 25, 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. featuring Anisha Green, Te’Quan Coe and more. Hartsville Fire Department now has stickers you can put on your door or window at home to inform the fire department there is a pet in your home. You can come by Hartsville Fire Department at 111 S. 7th St. to pick one up.

Good News Club
Good News Club is an after-school Bible club held after school for about one hour one day a week filled with songs, games, snacks, and a Bible story at various elementary schools in the area: Carolina Elementary, North Hartsville Elementary, Thornwell School for the Arts and West Hartsville Elementary. Parents who are interested in enrolling their children in this club should contact their school for more information. Participation is voluntary and free.
