LONGTIME CITY EMPLOYEE RECOGNIZED

At the most recent Hartsville City Council meeting, Mayor Casey Hancock and Fire Chief Jeff Burr presented Duane Cassidy with a plaque and proclamation designating June 14th as Duane Cassidy Day in the City of Hartsville. Cassidy has served the City of Hartsville for 50 years, rising through the ranks to assistant fire chief. Cassidy retired from his full time position in 2002, but remains on the department as a volunteer firefighter. Shown left to right, are Cassidy, Hancock, and Burr.
