Hartsville Gymnastics Team earns first place awards
The Hartsville Gymnastics Team earned first place team awards in Xcel Gold as well as many individual medals in vault, bars, beam, floor and all-around February 11 at the Carolina Classic in Columbia.
Xcel Bronze: Cheyenne Younger (9) took first on floor with a 9.4. Kylie Quick (10) had second on bars (9.15). Anna Alexander (8) had second on bars (9.4), third on floor (9.3) and third all-around (36.575). Macslee MacArthur (11) won floor (9.325). Alyssa Saleeby (6) had third on bars and beam. Addison Morrow (6) won first on floor (9.325). Jenna Cutler (8) won floor 9.4. Virginia Anne Chapman (9) tied for first on bars (9.15) and had second on floor(9.25).
Xcel Silver: Stella Grace Allen (11) had second on bars (9.4) and floor (9.175). Maddie Smith (9) placed second on bars and floor with a 9.3. Maddie also had third all around with a 35.975. Savannh Pietrazak (9) placed second all around with a 36.05
Xcel Gold: Rachel Creech (9) placed second on beam and third all around. Olivia Moses (9) placed first on vault (9.0), second on floor (9.225) and third on bars (9.225). Olivia took second all around with a 36.15. Laney Cross (9) placed first on bars (9.3) and beam (9.175), third on vault, and first all around with a 36.375. Savannah Culp (16) placed first on floor (9.325), second on vault, third on bars (9.0) and was first all around with a 35.525. Rivers Stinson (10) had first a bars (9.3) As a team, Xcel Gold placed first.
Xcel Platinum: Rachel Johnson (14) took first on floor (9.375) and third on vault, beam, bars and. she took third all around.
Level 9: Carlee Moore (15) placed first on floor, second on vault and bars, and thirs on beam. She was first all around.
The Gymnastics Center of Hartsville’s competitive team is coached by Ashleigh Richardson, Vicky Moore, Ashleigh Adams and Sarah Birnbuam.
