The risk of moderate rip currents stretches from Myrtle Beach to Debordieu Beach and Pawleys Island.
The National Weather Service cautions that individuals who are well-versed in escaping a rip current and are skilled swimmers are the only ones who should enter the ocean during a moderate risk.
