The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) has confirmed the identities of the two individuals who were killed. They were Antonio Williams, 33, of Capitol Heights, Maryland, and Terrell Osbourne Jr., 18, of Northwest.

Law enforcement officials are currently searching for a white 2019 Honda Accord in connection with the shooting incident.

A man and a woman were reportedly stabbed on the 1600 block of Eckington Place Northeast, just a few blocks north, according to police. This incident occurred only minutes after the aforementioned shooting.

Authorities have reported that both individuals who were victimized are anticipated to recover from their injuries. The suspect has been taken into custody, however, their identity has not yet been disclosed by law enforcement officials.

Gunshots were heard at around 1:30 a.m. on the 800 block of H Street Northeast, as per the authorities. However, there were no victims seen in the area. Later on, the police reported that a woman had taken herself to a hospital for gunshot injuries that were non-life-threatening.

In Southeast, there was a comparable occurrence shortly after the aforementioned incident. As per the police, they received a report of a shooting on the 2800 block of Hartford Street Southeast, but upon arrival at the scene, there was no victim present. However, later on, the MPD discovered that a man with a gunshot wound was receiving treatment at a hospital.

A fatal shooting occurred at an Anacostia apartment complex in Southeast, marking the end of a string of violent incidents.

At around 6:45 a.m. on the 1500 block of Butler Street Southeast, police made a grim discovery when they found Davon Mangum, a 38-year-old resident of Southeast, lying lifeless in the parking lot.

The suspect’s image, shared by MPD, displays a man with a dark complexion donning a black hooded jacket, black pants, sunglasses, and black shoes.
