The Hazards Of Artificial Intelligence And Child Abuse

The Hazards Of Artificial Intelligence And Child Abuse

The majority of Americans have no idea what artificial intelligence is or what it means to people throughout the world. The person who is just seconds away from becoming president has brought clarity to the situation for those who are in this fog. “I think the first part of this issue should be articulated is AI is a kind of a fancy thing, first of all, it’s two letters, it means artificial intelligence but ultimately… it’s machine learning.”

The Hazards Of Artificial Intelligence And Child Abuse

After defining artificial intelligence for us, Vice President Harris goes on to further enlighten our minds with the following explanation: “And so, the machine is taught, and part of the issue here is what information is going into the machine that will then determine, and we can then predict if we think about what information is going in, what then will be produced in terms of decisions and opinions that may be made through that process.”

After that clear explanation, if you’re still having unusual cognitive dissonance concerning artificial intelligence, let me translate the jargon for you. Humans employ cutting-edge computer technology to create artificial intelligence, and if it gets into the wrong hands, well, we’re in a “world of hurt,” as the saying goes.

Humanity has always been apprehensive of modern technology, and for good reason. Strict controls over the spread of information that could result in the production of an atomic bomb have been implemented out of concern that nuclear power could end up in the hands of the wrong person. In spite of these limitations, everyone is anxiously watching to see if Iran or North Korea can develop the technology necessary to end the world.

Artificial Intelligence

The issue with artificial intelligence, though, is that the technology is already in the hands of malicious individuals, and its possible destructive uses may even overshadow any beneficial ones.

Until now, the National Crime Agency (NCA), the top agency in the UK tasked with fighting organised crime, has issued a warning that the rise of artificial intelligence-generated explicit images of children is having a “radicalising” effect by “normalising” paedophilia and other disturbing behaviour towards children by paving the way for a terrifying trend of realistic images of children in sexual settings.

Sadly, this situation is not exclusive to the motherland, as experts warn that paedophiles are utilising AI to fabricate photos of young children having sex that are incredibly realistic and alarmingly common in the United States.

There is obviously a dual fear. Law enforcement will find it more and more challenging to distinguish between “real” photos and those that might have been generated by artificial intelligence as these images saturate the system.

Second, because these computer-generated images could start to “normalise” the heinous behaviour of child sexual abuse, experts warn that it could also have the unfavourable impact of increasing genuine sexual assaults on children.

Oh, there was one more fact that was important to the telling of this horror tale. Up to 830,000 adults, or 1.6% of all adults in the U.K., are thought to be sexually dangerous to children, according to the NCA. To put this information into perspective, consider that this guessed number is 10 times higher than the total number of prisoners in the United Kingdom. Is anyone listening?

At Southern Evangelical Seminary, we are aware of the inherent sinfulness of human nature. In addition, if left to their own ways, humans have a propensity to turn away from God rather than towards Him. Being a disciple of Christ takes deliberate action, not just passive acceptance of a false understanding of what real truth and true love are.

Our families and children are squarely in the line of a blinding onslaught of evil that has never before been seen. Evil individuals will devour the brains, bodies, and souls of our children if God’s people do not now stand firm in the truth of the Gospel.

If we do not act immediately to defend our priceless children from this assault of Lucifer himself, evil may very well be to blame, but those of us actual, non-artificial intellectual men who call ourselves Christians also must be held accountable. . As the old hymn states, “Rise up O men of God, be done with lesser things. Give heart and mind and soul and strength to serve the King of Kings.”
